Known for our stirring performances at home and abroad, Friends University Fine Arts’ repertoire of Choral, Instrumental, Theatre and Visual Arts events are sure to entertain and enlighten!
Celebrate the glory of the Lord with stirring choral music from Concert Choir, and the university’s century-old flagship choir, the Singing Quakers; and lose yourself in the harmonies created by the Jazz Vocal Ensemble.
Experience the talents of our student musicians and faculty at the various instrumental concerts on offer, including Friends University Wind Ensemble; Campus Band; Chamber & Symphony Orchestras; Flute Choir, and jazz ensembles such as Concert Jazz Band, Conjunto Latino, Soulstice and more!
Enjoy an assortment of award-winning Theatre, Music Theatre and Opera productions that entertain audiences of all ages.
Not a fan of music or theatre? Then stop by our Art Gallery & Atrium, in the Riney Fine Arts Center, to see a variety of exhibits created by Friends University students and local artists, who are sure to challenge and inspire you through their visual interpretations.
We also have a number of events and workshops exclusively for Kansas middle school and high school students, including matinee performances for Opera, Spring Musical and Symphony of Spring; choral workshops such as All-State Prep Day & Choral Connections; instrumental workshops such as Get Trombonafide! and the 32nd Annual Jazz Festival and more!
