The English Department at Friends University gave me the foundation I needed to pursue my dream career in publishing. Through courses in grammar, editing, and in-depth conversations about the publishing industry, I gained both the skills and the confidence to enter the field. I’m especially grateful for the professors who took the time to invest in me personally, encouraging my passions and equipping me to thrive beyond the classroom.
