Why I love Friends!

I think others should consider Friends University if they want a quality education that others in the professional world will take seriously. Another factor you should take into consideration, is that once you leave Friends, Friends doesn’t leave you. Once a Falcon always a Falcon.

My professors have furnished me with the tools to connect with others on multiple levels and thrive in an unfamiliar atmosphere.

The Christian Spiritual Formation program is one of the main reasons I came to Friends University. I wanted to be part of the CSF program because I wanted to learn as much about Jesus as possible. There was an unquenchable thirst for God in my life, and the CSF program has helped make that longing more acute.

My experience at Friends was invaluable and helped me in all of those positions, but most in my current role. The wildlife interpretation class in particular helped me get certified to create interpretive programs and I do not believe I would have been nearly as effective in my first program season without it. The conservation program at Friends helped me to cultivate my dream life more than I can explain!

Yo sé que cuando el tiempo se acerca para empezar a buscar y encontrar su universidad perfecta, hay muchas preguntas y surgen muchas dudas. Tengo que decirles que recibí mucha ayuda y mucho apoyo de los consejeros de la Universidad de Friends. ¡Era excepcional!

For me, Friends University has been the best investment I have made in my education. The personal growth I have seen in my time spent at Friends is astonishing. I have overcome challenges and obstacles that I would not have been able to if I had not attended Friends University. The community that surrounds this school is something I will never forget, and the relationships that have been built during my attendance here will last a lifetime.

The Kansas Wildlife Exhibit is thankful for the countless contributions from Friends University’s ConservationScience Program students. The partnership has been beneficial as Friends University Conservation Science students accomplish needed tasks in a short amount of time and student volunteers help with daily care, enrichment activities, and engage with the public. Students have made a lasting impression on the thousands of people who visit the KWE and follow along on social media. A Friends University student even started the KWE Instagram account.

Friends University provided me the opportunity to explore and develop all facets of music while allowing me to pursue a jazz concentration in trombone performance. This was a great steppingstone to further my career as a full-time freelance musician and pursue a doctorate in jazz studies. I hope to teach jazz at the university level one day and share my passion for making music that enriches lives and helps others do the same.
